Recent Research Interests

My main fields of research are optimal taxation theory, tax competition, trade policy, and family economics. Most recently, I have focused my interests on analyzing optimal taxation in the context of family economics. In one of my projects I examine optimal income tax structures while accounting for within-family income difference and its effects on household bargaining power. I am also working on developing an analysis of the optimal combination of income tax and child subsidy using models with endogenously determined number of children.
